I love when an author nails it. Harper Lee got me twice in To Kill a Mockingbird. These aren't as powerful taken out of context, but I'm sharing anyway:

Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing.

My stomach turned to water and I nearly threw up.
